Start clean
The author ends every day by stripping the chart: indicators off, drawings removed, a clean layout saved. On WenMoonLambo the lesson chart has a clear all button for studies and a clear my drawings button on every drawing exercise; the Technical Analysis chart clears itself whenever you switch coin. Save a preset called clean with nothing on it if you like the ritual.
First pass: averages and momentum
- Switch on the 8, 55 and 200 with RSI and MACD.
- Draw the Fibonacci retracement over the last big leg.
- Walk down the timeframes. The author goes monthly, bi-weekly, weekly, 5-day, 3-day, 2-day, daily, 12-hour, 8-hour, 6-hour, 4-hour. Here that is 1M, 1W, 1D on the lesson chart and 4H, 1H on the Technical Analysis chart.
- Write one line per timeframe in the journal: trend, momentum, nearest level.
Second pass: the bands
Same walk, RSI and MACD off, Bollinger Bands on. Note squeezes and closes outside the bands.
Define entries
- Support and resistance.
- The golden pocket.
- The averages that sit inside both.
- Entry levels where they overlap.
- Alert rules just outside the zone.
- The plan, written.
The author mentions an 89/233 cross at this point; it belongs to the advanced module and is introduced there.
In the lab
Do the two passes right now on one coin and write the lines in the journal with today's date. Tomorrow, do it again and read yesterday's note first. Within a week the notes become the routine; within a month they become your edge, because almost nobody keeps them.
